Well meaning, and doubtless accurate. And maybe the kind of people likely to give a damn about a baby bird are also the kind likely to bother going through this. I do wonder, though, whether it might have been worth flagging up the – to me at least – really crucial part of this message – the bit in the bottom right hand corner: ‘It is a myth that touching a baby bird will cause its parents to abandon it’. That’s certainly what I was taught, and what would have dissuaded me from doing the necessary thing. Personally I’d flag that bit up in a contrasting colour – day-glo orange, say – to ensure that *the* crucial message got through to everyone, whatever ‘kind of people’ they are.
