I say…

From a recent Times:

“Clare Foges, the PM’s former speechwriter, believes there is a “cut-glass ceiling” and has called for elocution lessons to help social mobility. Toffs are not always clearer speakers, though. Alan Bennett tells a story about visiting a rural church and meeting a very posh woman who said they were having “trouble with the myrrh”. Puzzled since it didn’t seem a very ritualistic church, Bennett asked if she meant incense, to which the lady replied: “No, no. The myrrh. For the grass. It’s broken down.”
